of grinding wheels depends on the material of the work pieces to be ground. Aluminum
Oxide is for the grinding or cutting of carbon steel, alloy steel, high speed
steel, annealed malleable iron, and hard bronze and similar metals. Silicon Carbide
is for low tensile gray iron, cast iron, soft bronze, cooper, aluminum, stone,
marble, rubber, glass and tungsten carbide.
